Latest Updates on Z
The Vida Z is an upcoming electric scooter from the Hero subsidiary. It features a simple and minimalist design, and a removable battery setup. The e-scooter was first unveiled at EICMA 2024 recently, along with 3 other upcoming Hero bikes.
When it comes to design, the Vida Z features a simple and minimalist look, with a large apron mounted LED headlight. The floorboard looks quite spacious and the seat is a large unit, with a pillion backrest.
The Vida Z will offer removable batteries according to the brand, which in theory will help in reducing range anxiety to a certain extent.
It features a telescopic fork and what appears to be a single sided shock absorber. The scooter rolls on alloy wheels and gets a disc brake at the front.
In terms of features, it will offer a TFT console with features such as ability to monitor/track the vehicle’s health, theft alerts, geofencing and vehicle immobilizer. Vida will also offer OTA (over-the-air) updates which will allow riders to update their scooter with newer features without having to visit the showroom.
We expect Hero to reveal more details about the Vida Z at Hero World 2025. The scooter could be priced under 1 lakh (ex-showroom). It will go up against other electric scooters in the market such as Ather Rizta, Ampere Nexus and the TVS iQube.
The Vida Z is an upcoming e-scooter from the Hero subsidiary, and will be positioned as an affordable family-oriented scooter.
