Q. I planning to buy VW Polo GT TSI is it worth buying over Ford EcoSport S as new VW Polo GT TSI on MQB platform is due to launch next year... still don't know when they are going to bring it down, earlier it was planned for this year when I am looking at number of features and safety factor Ford sound promising on paper. I am more of looking for feature, functionality, performance car with safety packed. Got confused in both, Polo is my first choice but with the advent of EcoSport S.
  • Both cars r different in segment,polo GT is no comparison with ecosport. GT seating is low wear as ecosport is better in seating position but good built man cannot seat in ecosport. Go for GT it's a monster in small pack.i own it last 4 year's and every day is new ride. try driving with power petrol of shell and it will never let u down.
  • I have no idea about ford ecosport. But polo gt tsi is an Audi that's for sure.

  • When you compare these two cars, i would definitely suggest Jazz CVT. The rubber band effect in Jazz is well contained. Ofcourse Polo has DCT transmission which is a different type of transmission compared to CVT. The DCT suits for enthusiasts. But it's reliability is questionable. On the other hand CVT is the most reliable type transmission. And Honda has proven models with CVT. The maintenance costs of Honda are low compared to VW. Jazz and Polo stands equal with respect to resale value.
  • In Polo, there are 2 versions, which one are looking at, if 1.2 engine then Jazz is better
  • Polo gt tdi is better than jazz but ,I prefer tata nexon
