The main addition in the Mahindra Scorpio N Z8 S is its new unique Midnight Black color, which stands out and accentuates the Scorpio N's menacing aura. Apart from that, most of the design elements are from the higher-end variants, meaning you do get LED headlights and tail lamps as well as dual-tone alloys.

Even though the Z8 S variant is equipped with features such as a 8-inch Infotainment screen, a 7-inch multi-info display, 17-inch dual-tone alloys, LED headlights and tail lamps, sunroof, six airbags and wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, it misses out push button start, electronically folding ORVMs, auto headlamps & wipers, dual-zone climate control, front camera, a 12-speaker Sony audio system, 6-way driver powered driver’s seats, and driver drowsiness detection.
The engines at the heart of the "Z8 Select" are the 2-liter turbo-petrol engine, which generates 200 PS of power and 380 Nm of torque, and the efficient 2.2-litre diesel engine, which generates 175 PS of power and 400 Nm of torque. You can have it with either a 6-speed manual or a 6-speed torque converter automatic transmission. A bigger miss is the four wheel drive system for which you’ll have to shift up to the Z8 variant.
The Scorpio N is a body-on-frame SUV alternative to the mid-size SUVs like Mahindra XUV700 , Tata Safari & MG Hector as well as compact SUVs like Hyundai Creta, Kia Seltos & Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara.
