A Mix of Style and Practicality

After a year of riding the Yamaha FZ-FI V3 through bustling city streets and the occasional long highway stretches, I feel quite equipped to give a detailed review. This bike boasts a 149cc single cylinder engine that provides a quite adequate 12 PS at 7250 rpm and a torque of 13 Nm at 5500 rpm. The fuel injection system ensures a smooth throttle response, which I found particularly useful during rush hour traffic. The bike's design is a big plus, featuring an aggressive yet sleek look with a comfortable seating position which is great for both short rides and some longer journeys.

my personal recommendation

I love my Yamaha FZ-FI V3 , which is a solid choice , reliable and stylish bike. Its 149cc engine delivers smooth performance, making it great for city commuting and short trips. The design is sleek and modern, with a comfortable riding position. Handling is easy, perfect for navigating through traffic. Fuel efficiency is decent, saving you money . Also it have decent mileage. But I find seat a bit firm for long rides. Overall, the FZ-FI V3 offers a good balance of power, style, and practicality for everyday riding needs.

Discovering Joy with the Yamaha FZ-FI V3

Since I drove off the lot with my Yamaha FZ FI V3 its been an interesting journey to say the least. Boasting a 149cc engine that delivers a power of 12.4 PS and a torque of 13.6 Nm it has enough pep to keep daily commutes lively and fun. The bike fuel efficiency a commendable 45 kmpl as claimed by Yamaha means fewer stops at the gas station which is always a plus in India where fuel prices can be unpredictable. After clocking several kilometers the seat comfort started becoming a bit of an issue on longer rides.

Overall this a great bike

Overall at the time when I purchased it on 30th May 2022, it was a value for the money kind. But after that when Yamaha increased the price day by day it doesn't feel like the proper value-for-money product. Now comes to build quality, the finishing isn't good (like the cut where they place the Bluetooth device that's like so rough it feels like some kid has done the job), and the tank joints feel flimsy. About riding comfort, I'd say the rider seat is pretty much comfortable for short and long rides but the pillion seat could have been better. About mileage, I have got 50-53+ kmpl combined with high road and bad city traffic, which is a pretty good number. And even when on a high road I mostly ride at like above 80+ mph speed which speed is out of its 'eco' category, So no complaint with the mileage. About performance 12 bhp mostly feels pretty low but that's okay I guess as we can't do anything about that. But the gearbox is something I don't like at all mainly between 1st and 2nd gear there's a huge power gap. Also when downshifting from 2nd to 1st gear it feels like something will break inside. Have checked with the service center they mentioned there's no problem with my bike which means all these models are like same weird. About servicing the service center is pretty clean and the mechanics are also good but a few staff is too weird here. I have completed 3 services to change engine oil all the time. The first 2 services were costly, Both coats were more than 1.1k. For the 3rd service, it became lower to 614/- as I denied to do chain cleaning, polishing, and fine cleaning. Chain cleaning can be self which costs far less than the service center at least. That's pretty much it, Overall if someone is buying his first bike like me then it will not disappoint in terms of reliability, and looks(for looks I have the black and golden combination deluxe version and noticed that many people look back too so what the bike is. Yes, There's also another factor for me that I have installed a crash guard which makes the bike looks more aggressive) and mileage. But if someone is upgrading from another bike to this then it won't feel much of a difference.

Timeless Style, Modern Performance

Yamaha FZ-FI V3 remains unchanged with its stylish looks which is a perfect example of classic-modern look and its fast-wide running, and as evident in the number of riders selecting it as their choice, this motorcycle is a perfect example of a fusion between classic and modern concept. Its sporty character with its larger fuel tank, LED headlight, and aggressive design usually announces a rider with a high sense of self-belief and power. A refined 149cc engine with fuel injection gives power and torque in the speed range of the bike ensuring smooth and really responsive performance perfect for daily city commuters and those who would love a weekend ride. From the FZ-FI V3's comfortable riding characteristics, such as the upright seating position, a well-padded seat to the contoured handlebars and footpegs which provide extra support for the rider's feet, it prioritizes the comfort of its rider.

Long rides

4.6

comfortable for daily usage and it's like a big motorcycle for an 150cc bikes and the handle bars I am sure everyone loves it.seats are bit hard for 100km ride .pillion comfort is good.the tank looks bulky and good.fI works good and abs it's single only in front that's enough for a 150cc engine and the power is more than enough for city rides. For long rides it's the engine that got heated up and you can feel the heat in your legs. vibration are low. cruising over 100 is comfortable for long ride because vibration is low overall performance is good and comfortable

Selva's FZ-FI Version 3.0 gives mileage of 45 kmpl with bs6 variant
