Price: The Ampere Reo Li Plus is available in a single variant priced at Rs 59,900 (ex-showroom, Bengaluru). It has four colour options: Red, Orange, Blue, and Yellow.
Features: The Ampere Reo Li Plus comes with a halogen headlight and tail light. The electric scooter also gets a digital instrument cluster that displays speed, battery level, odometer readings, and other tell-tale lights. It also gets an apron-mounted USB charging port and an underseat storage.
Motor: The Ampere Reo Li Plus is driven by a hub motor that gets its power from a 1.3kWh lithium-ion battery. This electric scooter's top speed is capped at 25kmph, so it doesn't require a license to ride. The removable battery takes approximately 5-6 hours to charge fully and provides a claimed range of around 70km.
Suspension, Brakes & Other Details: The Ampere Reo Li Plus uses a front telescopic fork and dual shock absorbers at the rear. It employs 10-inch alloy wheels at both ends with Ralco tyres. The braking system includes drum brakes at both ends with CBS (Combined Braking System). The Ampere Reo Li Plus has a decent ground clearance of 155mm. It can carry a maximum load of 120kg.

License-Free, Insurance-Free, Helmet-Free (though I always wear a helmet!). With 60 km per charge and decent1enough speed, Ampere Reo Li Plus has been a good buy! No jarring engine-noise or rattling, the electric1scooter has given me a smooth and satisfying riding experience. The mileage is consistent and even after1almost 3 years, the scooter delivers as good as new! No need for oil-change, no-need for visiting a1petrol-pump ( except for free air!), just charge the scooter at any 5 Amp outlet at home. The battery can even1be removed and taken inside for charging, but I find charging with the battery inside the scooter more1convenient. I paid just ₹60000 back then, may have become dearer now but still the price is very competitive1for a Little Ion variant. The dashboard is colour with digital speedometer and a battery-charge indicator. The1brakes are similar to any other scooter. With just 68 kgs it is among the lightest scooters, making riding1easy for not just me but for my daughter as well who is now 19. Maneuverability is superb, and traffic snarls have not affected me at all - just find a small space and1squeeze through!I recommend the Ampere Reo Li Plus especially for students and first time buyers - hassle1free, and light on the pocket!
