New engine:
Coming to the heart of the matter, providing firepower to the Bajaj Pulsar AS150 is a new 150cc powerplant which makes it the most powerful 150cc, air-cooled motorcycle in the country. Powering the Bajaj Pulsar AS150 is a 149.5cc, twin spark; 4-valve, air-cooled DTSi mill churning out 17PS of power at 9,500rpm and 13Nm of peak torque at 7,00rpm. This makes the new Bajaj Pulsar AS150 2PS more powerful than the Bajaj Pulsar 150 which would be soon replaced.
Quarter fairing and windscreen:
The Bajaj Pulsar AS150 is the first 150cc Pulsar offering to sport a quarter fairing. The fairing and tall windscreen would be really beneficial in shielding the riders from wind blast at higher speeds. This would help the riders in sustaining higher speeds thereby covering more distance. Apart from the functional part, the fairing does make the Bajaj Pulsar AS150 an imposing motorcycle with respect to visual appeal despite it being a 150cc bike.
Projector headlamp:
The biggest talking point about the new Bajaj Pulsar AS150 is its projector lamp. The Bajaj Pulsar AS150 is the first bike in its segment to be equipped with a projector lamp. The benefit of projector lamp is that it offers better illumination than standard headlamps. And given the fact that how poorly lit up roads in our country are, projector lamps is a useful feature.

Monoshock suspension:
Up until now, Bajaj had been using twin-shock suspension setup suspension for the Pulsar range of motorcycles barring the 200NS and the RS200. The new Bajaj Pulsar AS150 is the first 150cc Pulsar offering to feature a monoshock setup. The new monoshock setup should result in the new bike offering better ride quality while also aiding in its handling dynamics.
Semi-digital console:
The Bajaj Pulsar AS150 sports a part-analogue-part digital instrument cluster. The analogue tachometer takes centre stage while the digital console house details like the speedometer, odometer, trip meter, fuel gauge and clock. Other details include a side stand and service indicator. The instrument console has been lifted from the Pulsar 200NS and is easy to read when in motion.
