Ducati shows off 2016 bicycle range manufactured by Bianchi

Ducati do not need an introduction; the Italian machines on two wheels can be called as exquisite examples of art which are unanimously famous almost everywhere. Ducati motorcycles has now announced its bicycle range for the year of 2016 which will be manufactured by Bianchi, one of the oldest and most revered Italian bicycle companies. The 2016 range of Ducati bicycles will have hi-tech components, doped with Italian design with immense attention to detail and styling.

The bicycle range manufactured by Bianchi for Ducati will consist of Junior bikes, MTBs, Sport and E-bikes. These bicycles are inspired from the artwork present on the Ducati Monster and the Ducati Hypermotard models.

In the mountain bike (MTB) category, Bianchi has engineered the Ducati 330 SX which is constructed from an aluminium hardtail frame with light alloy components. The MTB sports 29-inch spoked wheels with hydraulic disc brakes for stopping power.

The E-bike category of bicycles are equipped with a Bosch electric motor of 250W which is capable of achieving a maximum speed of 25 kmph. The battery pack is strapped on the frame of the bicycle and is capable of providing assisted power up to 150kms in Eco mode and 70kms in Turbo mode. The E-bike is suitable for commuting from home to office and for touring expeditions.

The 2016 bicycle range will be unique and at the same time distinguished by their purpose combining the Ducati and Bianchi design cues to tackle different kinds of terrain. Ducati will be having the 2016 bicycle range on display at select company outlets. No words on if we can see them in Indian Ducati showrooms yet.
