A Lamborghini Gallardo worth more than Rs Two crore was charred in Delhi. The saffron coloured Gallardo caught fire at the rear end and was engulfed in flames. This incident took place today at the Badarpur area of South Delhi.
According to reports, the owner of the Rs 2.5 crore Italian supercar managed to escape miraculously. While authorities are yet to determine the cause of the fire, reports suggest the first spark came from the engine.
The Lamborghini Gallardo is equipped with a 5.2-litre V10 engine which churns out 550PS of power and 540Nm of torque. The Gallardo was Lamborghini's best-selling car model with over 14,000 units sold worldwide in its 10 year production run.
This hypercar went out of production back in 2013 and was replaced by a much more aggressive Huracan.
Last year, yet another Gallardo was reportedly damaged after a valet at Le Meridien hotel drove it into a concrete wall.
