Uber tried to give ‘Mad Max’ fans an adventure ride like never before. The online taxi-hailing service teamed up with Warner Bros to give everyone in Seattle a little taste of what it is like to ride in a Wasteland Warrior vehicle. Uber associated with the production company to promote the action-adventure vehicular combat video game, based on the Mad Max film series, which was set for a release this month.
Those who were interested in riding in the Mad Max-inspired vehicle simply had to use Uber, and request Mad Max. A Warboy would then turn up and drop the enthusiasts off at the desired destination but within the city limit.
The best part of this promotional activity was that every single ride was free as the company stated that ‘Dollars are worthless in Wasteland.’ The promotional activity further stated that cars varied in size and hence could chair possibly one, three, or four other riders.
Those wishing to virtually experience the thrill can do so with the video game which introduces an original story set within the universe of Mad Max. Players become Max, the lone warrior who must fight to stay alive by engaging in on-ground fighting, as well as vehicular combat, against savage factions who fight for domination in the open-world.
