Recently Asked User Questions

Q. Which bike is better, Unicorn or Raider?
  • Both the bikes are good in their forte. The Honda Unicorn has always been the go-to bike if you were planning to buy a 150cc commuter. The BS6 update has given the bike a larger motor while retaining the dynamics of the older bike. It still remains a well-rounded motorcycle, but the BS6 update has come with a hefty price hike. On the other hand, TVS’ has certainly come back to the 125cc segment with a bang with the Raider. It’s fun to ride, feature-packed, feels rather premium and is well priced too. It is definitely one of the most well-rounded offerings in the 125cc space. Moreover, we would suggest you to take a test ride before making the final decision. Q. Difference bw Photon LI and LP ?
  • There is not much difference. Powering the Hero Electric Photon is a BLDC hub motor. On the 72 Li version, you get a 1kW motor with a peak power of 1.5kW. The LP trim gets a larger 1.2kW motor that has a peak power of 1.8kW. Both variants offer the same top speed of 45kmph. Both models get different battery sizes. The more affordable one gets two 28Ah battery packs. This gives the scooter a maximum range of 110km in economy mode and 80km in power mode. The other variant gets just a single 26Ah battery pack, giving the scooter a range of 80km. Underpinnings on both versions of the Photon remain the same. The Photon electric scooter runs on 10-inch alloy rims. It is the only scooter in Hero Electric’s current lineup that gets a front disc brake as standard.
