Q. I presently ride Versys 650 and looking for a In-line 4 with somewhat relaxed riding position. I have shortlisted Ninja 1000SX and CBR650R. Feature wise I like Ninja 1000SX and always liked the design and style of CBR650R. Anything around 100 bhp is sufficient and should have modern electronics. So what you guys suggest me?
  • Selecting between the Kawasaki Ninja 1000SX and Honda CBR650R would depend on certain factors such as your budget, brand preference, features required, etc. If budget is not an issue and looking for a better power performance at a price and often go for long rides, Kawasaki Ninja 1000SX would be a good option. However, it is a bit heavier side and a bit difficult to handle on narrow roads or in city conditions. Apart from it, it offers a better feature list, riding modes and better road grip. On the other hand, CBR650R is powered by 649cc, liquid-cooled, inline-four engine that has been updated for a stronger mid-range. In its BS6 guise, it now puts out 87PS at 12,000rpm and 57.5Nm at 8500rpm. CBR650R features new graphics, a revised LED headlight reflector profile, and a USB Type-C under seat charging socket. - Moreover, we would suggest you take a test ride before making the final decision. Q. I am confused between Ninja 650 2020 KRT edition VS CBR 650R? Which one is better?
  • CBR650R makes more power and at higher RPM and makes slightly lesser torque. Ninja being a twin cylinder engine makes more torque at lower rpm although it makes lesser power. Ninja 650 is good for long distance cruising. CBR with the 4 cylinder engine gives a sporty riding experience and makes more top speed than Ninja 650.
