BMW X7 2019-2023 Overview
The facelifted BMW X7 is coming to India on December 10, 2022, as the latest iteration of the carmaker’s premium full-size SUV. It gets a new front-end styling with split LED headlights, chiselled bumper with silver accents and a tweaked rear-end design.
The BMW X7 will be powered by 3-litre six-cylinder petrol and diesel engines with mild-hybrid tech, with the range-topping M60i variant getting a 4.4-litre twin-turbo V8 engine. An 8-speed automatic will be offered as standard.
The BMW X7 is a luxury full-size SUV equipped with niceties such as a BMW i-Drive 8 Curved Display with integrated infotainment and driver’s instrumentation screens. A rocker switch replaces the automatic gear lever and other features include a panoramic sunroof, Bowers and Wilkins audio system, seat ventilation and massaging and connected car tech.
The BMW X7 will rival the Audi Q8 and Mercedes GLS.

- The xDrive30d DPE Signature variant of the X7 is powered by a 3.0-litre, 6-cylinder diesel engine that makes 265PS and 620Nm of peak torque. The xDrive 40i, on the other hand, is powered by a 3.0-litre turbo-petrol, six-cylinder engine that makes 340PS and 450N of peak torque. The diesel X7 can dash from 0-100kmph in 7 seconds while the petrol can reach the same speed in just 6.1 seconds. Both petrol and diesel variants use an 8-speed automatic transmission and are also equipped with BMW’s all-wheel-drive (xDrive) system.
