The 2020 Skoda Superb is launched in India and is priced in between Rs 30 lakh to Rs 33 lakh. Unlike the old car that offered a petrol and diesel engine options, the new car is available solely with a BS6-compliant 2.0-litre TSI petrol engine in two variants: Sportline and Laurin & Klement.
The new 2.0-litre TSI BS6 petrol engine develops 190PS of power and 320Nm of torque. Transmission duties will be taken care of by a 7-speed DSG gearbox.
In terms of cosmetic changes the 2020 Superb gets a tweaked grille, Matrix LED headlamps and new front and rear bumpers. On the inside too it mostly remains unchanged. Now you get a virtual cockpit (digital instrument cluster, exclusive to Sportline), and an updated 8-inch touchscreen unit. Other features include 12-way adjustable front seats with memory, eight airbags, Alcantara upholstery (Sportline), Smartlink connectivity (connected car tech), Canton sound system (L&K), 3-zone climate control, panoramic sunroof, and ambient lighting.
