The Maruti Suzuki Vitara Brezza has been chugging along in India since 2016 and has been a heck of a jewel for the carmaker as it has dominated the sub-4 metre SUV segment. But with competition ramping up tenfold over the past couple of years, it was time for a fresh look even though it got a midlife refresh in 2020. Enter, the latest iteration of the sub-4 metre SUV at prices starting from Rs 7.99 lakh (ex-showroom).
Aside from the obvious change being dropping the ‘Vitara’ name from its moniker, it comes with evolutionary styling and a boatload of new kit onboard. Is all this enough to retain the Brezza’s sub-4 metre crown? We spent some time with it and have come back with some interesting conclusions— check it out.
