With the lockdown easing a bit, action in the two-wheeler market is expected to gain momentum. A bunch of new bikes and scooters are expected to be launched in June 2020. THe popular new bike launches in June 2020 are the Hero Xtreme 160R, Yamaha FZ 25 BS6, Kawasaki Z900, Triumph Tiger 900 and many more. The most important upcoming bike launch is the Royal Enfield Meteor 350. With the new Royal Enfield bike, the company will showcase its new 350cc engine and new frame.
Most bike brands will be banking on these new launches to gather sales momentum as due to the lockdown sales have been very poor. While two-wheeler sales had improved in May, with the unlock 1.0 plan restrictions are lesser and dealerships will be hoping for better walk-ins. Two-wheeler manufacturers have started new EMI schemes, discounts and other offers to attract crowds. Few brands still have unsold BS4 bikes and they will be trying hard to clear them as BS6 bikes are priced higher than them.
