BMW Motorrad unveiled the G 310 GS adventure tourer based on the G 310 R at the Auto Expo 2018 today. The GS version of the motorcycle made its first public appearance last year at the EICMA motorcycle show in Milan. The G 310 R, which was on display at the Auto Expo 2016, is already on sale in Europe and biking enthusiasts in the country can't wait to get their hands on one. Now, BMW Motorrad has confirmed that both bikes will be launched in the country in the second half of 2018.
Once launched, the BMW G 310 R will rival the KTM 390 Duke, Kawasaki Z250 and the Benelli TNT 300. The BMW G 310 GS, on the other hand, take on the likes of the Royal Enfield Himalayan, the Mahindra Mojo and the Kawasaki Versys X300. The main rivalry, however, will come in the form of the upcoming KTM 390 Adventure.
