After a long wait, the small-capacity Bavarian twins have finally landed in India. Both the G 310 R and G 310 GS are smaller incarnations of their larger siblings - the S 1000 R and R 1200 GS respectively, packing a smaller 313cc single-cylinder engine co-developed with TVS. In fact, almost all the mechanicals of the G 310 R - the engine, frame and suspension have been seen before on the TVS Apache RR310.
The G 310 GS, while sharing the same engine and chassis, has been designed to deliver a proper small-capacity adventure tourer experience with it's long travel suspension, high ground clearance, large 19-inch front wheel and dual-sport tyres. We get astride these baby bimmers for the first time and tell you what they're all about.
