The G 310 R is BMW Motorrad’s foray into the world of small capacity motorcycles. This baby Beemer shares the same ainternals, i.e. chassis, engine, gearbox, suspension and even wheels, with the TVS Apache RR 310, and in fact, is produced in the same factory as the Apache, in Hosur. Launched along with its adventure-touring sibling, the G 310 GS in mid-2018, the G 310 R remains one of the most expensive motorcycles in the 300-500cc segment. But it does offer great build quality and use of top-notch materials everywhere. Performance-wise, it’s at par with its TVS cousin, and offers the best ride quality in its class.
