The Bounce Infinity E1 is the first electric scooter in India with a fully developed battery swapping system. Launched on 2nd December 2021, Bounce says that deliveries for the Infinity E1 will start in March 2022. But unlike fairly premium e-scooters such as the Ather 450X, the Bajaj Chetak and the Ola S1, the Infinity has a very different proposition. It’s a fairly basic e-scooter with a focus on delivering great value for money. And to that end, it’s the only electric scooter right now in the country that you can buy without the battery, which can be leased via a subscription service. Bounce already has 170 swap stations throughout Bangalore and the idea is to reach pan-India in the next couple of months. Bounce will also be expanding their presence to 50 showrooms in 10 major cities across India by March 2022 as well.
