BYD Atto 3 | Most Unusual Electric Car In India? | First Look

Following the launch of the BYD e6 electric MPV, BYD has just revealed their first passenger electric car for India. The BYD Atto 3 sits at the premium end of the spectrum, boasting of a 500km+ range, ADAS and a long list of quirks. This electric SUV will be assembled in India and sit above cars like the MG ZS EV and Hyundai Kona EV. A major draw for the Atto 3 is the Blade battery tech that powers it. Developed in-house by BYD themselves, this battery technology has proven itself on the counts of safety, space optimization and range delivery as well. That aside, it’s also got some go to it, promising a 0-100kmph time of 7.3 seconds with over 200PS and 310Nm of torque on tap.
