Everve Motors have unveiled its first all-electric scooter at the 2020 Auto Expo. Once launched, the electric scooter will be available in two motor options: 3.3kW and 5kW. Everve claims the electric scooter can accelerate from 0-60kmph in 8.73 seconds and achieve a top speed of 110kmph. Although the speed has been limited to 90kmph for now. It gets dual lithium-ion batteries that can be swapped. The e-scooter has a range of 100km. Charging time is 5 hours with a conventional 5A socket. You also have the option to charge the electric scooter up to 50 per cent in 1.5 hours using a fast charger. Features include a projector headlamp with LED DRL, LED tail lamp, and LED turn indicators. It gets a colour TFT instrument console. Like Ather, the Everve electric scooter will feature Over The Air (OTA updates). Underpinnings include USD fork and twin gas charged shock absorbers. It gets chunky 12-inch tyres on both ends. Braking hardware consists of disc brakes on both wheels. In terms of competition, it goes up against the Ather 450, the Bajaj Chetak and the TVS iQube Electric.
