Hyundai has launched the Grand i10 Nios at an ex-showroom price of Rs x.xx lakh to Rs x.xx lakh. The Grand i10 Nios is the new generation of the Grand i10 but does not replace it i.e. the Hyundai Grand i10 and Grand i10 Nios will remain on sale together. The i10 Nios sports a more youthful design and gets major changes including new bumpers, headlamps, tail lamps and wheel designs.
Highlights of the Grand i10 Nios include a new interior as well with a more modern looking dashboard, a new touchscreen infotainment system borrowed from the Venue, fabric seat upholstery and a new instrument cluster as well. The Nios will share its engine options with the Grand i10 - a 1.2 litre diesel producing 75PS/190Nm & a 1.2 litre petrol engine producing 83PS/114Nm. A major difference in the Nios is the availability of an AMT (automated manual transmission) with the petrol and diesel engines.
