The Kia Carens will likely go on sale in early-2022, at prices starting from Rs 15 lakh (ex-showroom, India). The MPV will lock horns with the Hyundai Alcazar, Mahindra XUV 700 and Tata Safari.
It either comes in 6 or a 7 seater layout and promises to offer good amount of space and comfort to all three row passengers. The Carens will be powered by either a 1.4L Turbo petrol or a 1.5L turbo diesel. In terms of transmission options the petrol will either be mated to a 7-speed DCT or a 6-speed manual while the diesel will get a 6-speed AT or a 6-speed manual transmission. It comes with premium features like an 8-speaker Bose audio system, cooled front seats, air purifier and a lot more.
