The Maruti Suzuki Alto is a little legend in its own right. Making its way into the homes of over 43 lakh Indian families, it's been the country's highest-selling car for 16 years, averaging 100 sales per hour since the turn of the century. Over the years, it's developed a reputation for being affordable to buy/run, durable and easy to drive. For its latest generation, the Alto K10's design goes through a significant change and it also gets new features.
The Alto K10 2022 gets a 7-inch touchscreen with Android Auto/Apple CarPlay, electric mirror adjustment, 4 speakers and a digital speedometer. While the features list is expectedly basic, it does have enough for a daily city runabout with prices ranging from Rs 4-6 lakh (ex-showroom). The 1-litre petrol engine is shared with the Celerio and it is also available with an optional automated manual transmission (AMT).
