There’s another small hatchback in town - the S-Presso! Maruti calls this a micro-SUV, but is it one really? Size-wise, it’s the tallest in its class. But, in every other aspect, it’s smaller the Renault Kwid. But, surprisingly it offers more room inside the cabin compared to its rivals.
It’s offered with a single 1.0-litre petrol engine that makes 68PS of power and 90Nm of torque. This engine is available with both: a 5-speed manual, and a 5-speed AMT. Claimed efficiency stands at 21.4kmpl-21.7kmpl. Maruti SPresso features include a 7” touchscreen infotainment system (with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay), front power windows, digital instrument cluster and manual air-conditioning. Standard safety features for the S-Presso include driver’s airbag, ABS with EBD and reverse parking sensors. Co-Driver’s airbag is optional across all variants, and standard on the top-spec VXi+.
