Bengaluru-based startup, Simple Energy, has launched its first electric scooter, the Simple One at Rs 1,09,999 (ex-showroom Bengaluru). The Simple One enters the highly competitive segment of premium electric scooters like the Ola S1, the Ather 450X, the TVS iQube Electric, and the Bajaj Chetak. If the company’s claims are to be believed, the One is India’s quickest electric scooter, taking just 2.95s to go from 0-40kmph. Also, with a humongous 4.8kWh battery pack, the One has an IDC range of 236km, making it the highest range on offer on any scooter in India.
