Just like we told you, Yamaha gave the MT-15 a small but serious update for 2022. Prices for the motorcycle have gone up by Rs 12,000, the bike now carrying a sticker price of Rs 1,59,990 (ex-showroom Delhi). The big difference from the V1 is the improvement in the suspension. You now get a USD fork and cast aluminium swingarm, both of which have been lifted from the R15 V4. The console gets smartphone connectivity but it only displays call and SMS alerts and a phone battery indicator, no navigational assist whatsoever. Plus, this version of the MT-15 doesn’t get dual-channel ABS, quickshifter or traction control, which is a big letdown.
