The Yamaha YZF-R15 has been one of the most successful offerings from the Japanese manufacturer in India. Now, the bike maker has launched the fourth iteration of the supersport in India. This baby supersport now borrows its fairing design from the Yamaha YZF-R7, dropping the dual-headlight setup in favour of a single Bi-functional LED unit flanked by LED DRLs. There’s also a new Bluetooth enabled console that gets two display modes - Street and Track, the latter of which also gets a lap timer. Mechanically, the biggest update is the inclusion of an upside down fork at the front. This V4 also becomes the smallest capacity bike in India to get electronic aids such as traction control and a quickshifter. While the engine has remained the same, the performance has reduced a little compared to the V3. The new R15 V4 has been priced Rs 1,67,800 onwards, which is a hike of Rs 10,000 over the previous model.
