- All bikes are good in their own forte. The bike features a liquid-cooled, V-Twin 1133cc engine with a closed loop fuel-injection system that makes out a max power of 94hp and a peak torque of 97Nm at 5,600rpm. The engine is mated to a 5-speed gearbox. The Bobber gets a raw look with a blacked-out engine, frame, exhaust, handlebars, and mirrors. With the least amount of chrome, the bobber looks absolutely dashing. It is equipped with a dual-tone leather seat, minimalist LED tail lamp, chopped front, and rear fenders, and black cast aluminum wheels. There are a black analog single pod and an all-new Indian Scout badge on the fuel tank. If you want to go for a better fit and finish, you may opt for Indian Scout Bobber but the after-sales services are a bit of a concern. On the other hand, the new Harley Davidson Forty-Eight is more expensive than its BS4 predecessor. Torque and weight have remained unchanged. Distinctive features include a low solo seat, under-mounted mirrors, side mount license plate, clean rear fender and tall and fat front tire, new front fork sliders, a tall and fat front tire, and slammed rear suspension, With Electronic Sequential Port Fuel Injection (ESPFI), shorty dual exhaust, forward foot controls, low profile custom handlebar, fork-mounted turn signals, slammed speedometer mounting bracket and fork brace with lightening holes. Harley Davidson's after-sales services are better than Indian. And the Triumph Bonneville Bobber features the old-school hardtail look with bobbed fenders and a floating single-piece seat suspended on a cantilever spring system, which can be moved forward or backward to suit the rider’s height. It retains its stainless steel slash-cut exhausts. A dash of the modern appeal comes with full-LED lighting, a semi-digital instrument cluster, ride-by-wire, and two riding modes. Besides, cruise control also comes standard.

- Harley Davidson Forty Eight is a low rider bike so it would not be a good option for Ladakh roads and for off-roading.
- Iron883 very nice bibike
- Wanna need suggestions about harley 48 vs bonvillie bobber triumph
- Iron 883 is more of a controlled ride and forty eight is more of a ride over riders take, iron 883cc engine is more decent and keep under controlled type of bike, while the 1200cc of the forty eight is a more faster engine, both are good at short rides and a little bit of cruising, but if you have a really good 6 lines highway and a large distance to cover everyday i would recommend you to take a look at the softail family which is updated now, it has good collection , but for India they have provided only 4 bikes this 2020, so in short for if you are planning to get the sportster (iron, or forty eight or roadster or 1200custom they sure are good round town bikes and for local errands, ) if you are doing 100+ speeds on the highway along with your sporty bike riders, i would strongly recommend you to take a look at the softail family.
- Yes
- I don’t think it would be good for you and you can get back pain as well
- It solely depend upon you, For example if you love to ride often or only for weekend ride,Generally HD call for service after 6months or around 4,000 kms done (people go after 6months where tough to cross 4,000kms if you are doing weekend rides)Maintained cost roughly 8K-11K (except any major parts changes)using Iron for daily use is not wise in city like Bangalore due to air cooled engine & almost all these heavy machine heated up like anything in traffic.
- At every 8000 kms, cost is around 25000-30000 ₹
- 8000 rs
- Offcourse Hayabusa is best bike
- HD48

2.6Practicality due
The forty eight is an amazing looking bike and it rocks the evolution engine which are said to run for ever, HOWEVER it lacks in comfort, practicality due to no fuel gauge and small tank capacity and also horrible mileage. The forty eight also lacks power in the top end and it just refuses to go beyond 165 kmph mark stock form. Therefore anyone looking to but the forty eight must consider other better options such as the triumph bobber etc

Simple act
Forty-eight is a reminder of just how enjoyable it is to ride a bike that provides an undeniably elemental experience. The simple act of pushing the start switch ignites a rider's passion.
