Q. What would you suggest between Scout Bobber and Scout for both city as well as highway (more than 150km)
- Indian Scout Bobber's engine is mated to a 5-speed gearbox. The Bobber gets a raw look with a blacked-out engine, frame, exhaust, handlebars, and mirrors. With the least amount of chrome, the bobber looks absolutely dashing. It is equipped with a dual-tone leather seat, minimalist LED tail lamp, chopped front, rear fenders, and black cast aluminum wheels. There are a black analog single pod and an all-new Indian Scout badge on the fuel tank. The suspension duties on the bike are handled by a telescopic front fork and dual shock absorbers at the rear. The 16-inch alloy wheels are shod with 130/90-16 and 150/80-16 section tyres at the front and rear respectively. On the braking front, it sports disc brakes (298mm at the front and the rear) and ABS. On the other hand, The Scout uses a 1133cc, liquid-cooled V-Twin that belts out 97Nm of peak torque at 5,600rpm. The engine is mated to a 6-speed gearbox. The suspension duties on the Scout are handled by a telescopic fork and dual shock absorbers at the rear. its 16-inch front and rear wheels come shod with a 130/90-section tyre and a 150/80-section tyre. On the braking front, the Indian Scout comes with disc brakes (298mm at the front and the rear).
Q. Can this be perfect for off road - Scout?
- The Scout uses a 1133cc, liquid-cooled V-Twin that belts out 97Nm of peak torque at 5,600rpm. The engine is mated to a 6-speed gearbox. The suspension duties on the Scout are handled by a telescopic fork and dual shock absorbers at the rear. its 16-inch front and rear wheels come shod with a 130/90-section tyre and a 150/80-section tyre. The ergonomics of the vehicle are pretty great as well.
Q. I am waiting to own the Scout since past 4 years. Is it really worth to own one and one main question I don't
find ans any where is that. I am quite bad at controlling sporty bikes so I opt cruisers, I wanna know how
good is it Road grip wise and How about brakes. I have a bad habit of using front brakes often than stamping
the pedals. I want smooth stopping even at 3 digits speed. I usually don't ride harsh.. but Is it very under
control ,manageable? I am confused between Scout and X diavel, Which to go for. Even suggest me any bike
according to my favours as I said!! If anyone could clear all my doubts?
- Selecting the right bike would depend on several factors such as your budget preference on the segment, features required, engine options, brand preference, etc. The Ducati XDiavel BS6 is powered by a 1262cc liquid-cooled L-twin engine which produces 160PS at 9500rpm (8PS more than before) and 127Nm at 5000rpm (1Nm more). It is reined in by various electronic aids such as three riding modes (Sport, Touring, Urban), traction control, launch control, cruise control, and a Bosch Inertial Measurement Unit-enhanced (IMU) cornering ABS. The bike rides on a fully adjustable inverted front fork and a rear mono-shock that’s adjustable for preload and rebound. If you want to go for a better fit and finish, you may opt for Indian Scout but the after-sales services are a bit of concern.
