- You should go for hornet 160r for reliability, power, perfomance.
- If you need a bike of good power and if you have budget around 1.5-1.6 lakh INR then go for fz25 or mt15 or Gixxer 250 they offer really good power . But if you have low budget don't go for hero bikes they are not at all good . Buy hornet or Gixxer 150 instead they will be better than your choice

4.2Major complains
In 2000 it was the best bike available. The ride quality was perfect very smooth at high speeds, Did a lot of highway & hill rides without any issues. The only drawback was the hero service quality & attention to detail which forced to develop an independent mechanic with which all service releated problems were covered, Spares avalability was limited but no major complains.Drove approx.90k km with no major issues & desposed it as junk with a heavy heart.

3.8Extra weight
The engine comes to its life after 4-5k rpm's. Decent comfort with decent road presence! Personally i think the raw power as mentioned by the company lags due to the extra weight of the motorcycle.I personally think a 150cc segment bike should get a kil switch but most of the hero line-up doesn't have it so no probs!

The bike is very comfortable
The bike is very comfortable for city ride. The look and body design is also good in this range.Talking about the mileage, I am a bit disappointed as it gives me only 25 km in city and 35 km in highway. The yearly maintenance cost is around 3000 only.Overall i will give 3.5 out of 5 stars to this bike.
