The Hero Destini 125 is a no-nonsense family-oriented scooter. But compared to its main rivals, it feels like it doesn’t have the same kind of features that could make it a cut above. The 2024 update has only made minimal improvements, most of which center around design. But overall, the scooter is still quite good and worth considering if you’re looking for one for the family.

Destini 125 Key Highlights
Price: The Destini 125 is offered in 3 variants with different prices. The base VX variant costs Rs 80,450. Whereas the ZX variant costs Rs 89,300 and the top spec ZX+ variant costs Rs 90,300. All prices are ex-showroom Delhi.
Features: The VX variant gets a semi-digital instrument console while the ZX and ZX+ variants get an LCD instrument console with Bluetooth connectivity and turn-by-turn navigation. The scooter gets an LED projector headlight, auto-cancelling indicators and an LED taillight. It also gets an USB charging port, luggage hooks, external fuel filler cap, boot lamp in the underseat storage space and an illuminated engine start switch.
Engine: The Hero Destini 125 is powered by a 124.6cc, single-cylinder engine producing 9PS at 7000rpm and 10.4Nm at 5500rpm.
Suspension, Brakes & Other Details: The Hero Destini 125 gets a suspension setup of a telescopic fork and a monoshock. The VX variant gets drum brakes at both ends while the ZX and ZX+ variants get a 190mm front disc and rear drum brake setup. It gets a 90-section front and 100-section rear tyre setup with 12-inch wheels at both ends. The scooter has a wheelbase of 1302mm, seat height of 770mm and a ground clearance of 162mm. The kerb weight stands at 115kg and the fuel tank capacity is 5.3 litres.
