The Hero Destini 125 is powered by a 124.6cc, single-cylinder engine producing 9PS at 7000rpm and 10.4Nm at 5500rpm.

The Hero Destini 125 gets a suspension setup of a telescopic fork and a monoshock. The VX variant gets drum brakes at both ends while the ZX and ZX+ variants get a 190mm front disc and rear drum brake setup. It gets a 90-section front and 100-section rear tyre setup with 12-inch wheels at both ends. The scooter has a wheelbase of 1302mm, seat height of 770mm and a ground clearance of 162mm. The kerb weight stands at 115kg and the fuel tank capacity is 5.3 litres.

The VX variant gets a semi-digital instrument console while the ZX and ZX+ variants get an LCD instrument console with Bluetooth connectivity and turn-by-turn navigation. The scooter gets an LED projector headlight, auto-cancelling indicators and an LED taillight. It also gets an USB charging port, luggage hooks, external fuel filler cap, boot lamp in the underseat storage space and an illuminated engine start switch.

The Hero Destini 125 rivals the likes of the Honda Activa 125, Yamaha Fascino 125 Fi Hybrid, Suzuki Access 125 and TVS Jupiter 125.

The 2024 Destini 125 is the updated version of Hero MotoCorp's family 125 scooter. It features a near-complete redesign and host of new features. While it's engine has remained unchanged, tweaks to the variomatic transmission have made it peppier than before.
