The Honda Rebel 300 could be launched in India before the Honda Rebel 500. It will be the Japanese brand’s first cruiser in India and is likely to be priced at around Rs 2.30-2.40 lakh (ex-showroom). If you’re wondering how we arrived at that ballpark figure, check this out.

The Honda Rebel 300 shares its motor with the Honda CB300R. The 286cc single-cylinder liquid-cooled engine churns out 30.4PS at 8000rpm and 27.4Nm at 6500rpm. It works alongside a 6-speed transmission with assist and slipper clutch. The assist function reduces the clutch lever effort whereas the slipper feature prevents the rear wheel from locking up under hard downshifts.

The motorcycle uses 41mm telescopic front fork and twin shock absorbers at the rear. The small 16-inch alloys are wrapped with fat 130-section front and 150-section rear tyres. Brakes include disc on both ends. In the US market, a dual-channel ABS variant is available but expect Honda to offer it as standard in India. When launched, it will be the only true-blue cruiser in its segment in India.

Bike design

This bike design looks like street cruiser bike.But prize is too high.For 300 cc honda can quote prize range of bajaj avenger.Honda rebel should be launched 350 cc instead of 300 cc & should revise the prize & quote for lesser prize as it could be middle-class FAVOURITE cruiser.

I actually saw it in the expo and this bike is really comfortable and good looking.I had many options at first to buy a cruiser but after seeing this one the others just disappeared (in this price range ).

If price between 1-1.5 lakhs

If price between 1-1.5 lakhs then it will be highest selling in india.2nd most important thing is milise.Milise must be min 40 km/l.
