Hyundai Venue Overview

Hyundai has launched the Venue E+ variant from Rs 8.23 lakh (ex-showroom). It is based on the base-spec E variant, and comes at a premium of Rs 29,000 over it. With this variant, the sunroof feature gets more affordable by Rs 1.12 lakh. It is powered by the 1.2-litre petrol engine, paired with a 5-speed manual transmission.

The Hyundai Venue, a subcompact SUV in India, shares its platform with the Kia Sonet and sits between the Exter micro-SUV and the Creta compact SUV in Hyundai’s lineup. It is also available in a sportier N Line version. The Venue received a facelift in 2023, enhancing its features and making it a more appealing option for buyers who want a well-loaded and stylish car.

Hyundai Venue Key Highlights

Features: The Hyundai Venue gets features like an 8-inch infotainment system with wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, electric sunroof, remote engine start, keyless entry, push-button start/stop, 4-way powered driver seat, automatic climate control, wireless phone charger, cruise control and LED projector headlights with DRLs. Safety features include 6 airbags, ABS with EBD, electronic stability control, vehicle stability control, hill hold assist, ISOFIX and some ADAS features.

Engine: The Hyundai Venue has three engine options. It gets a 1.2-litre petrol engine that produces 83 PS and 114 Nm and a 1-litre turbo petrol engine that produces 120 PS and 172 Nm. The sub-4-metre SUV also gets a 1.5-litre diesel engine that delivers 116 PS and 250 Nm. Talking about transmission options, the 1.2-litre petrol engine gets paired with a 5-speed manual and the 1.0-litre petrol gets coupled to either a 6-speed manual or a 7-speed DCT while the diesel engine gets mated to a 6-speed manual. The Hyundai Venue measures 3995 mm in length, 1770 mm in width and 1617 mm in height (with roof rails). The Venue sits on a wheelbase of 2500 mm.

Rivals: The Hyundai Venue rivals the Maruti Suzuki Brezza / Fronx, Tata Nexon, Mahindra XUV 3XO, Kia Sonet, Toyota Taisor, Nissan Magnite and Renault Kiger.

Variants: The Hyundai Venue has eight broad trims: E, S, Executive, S+, S(O), SX and SX(O). There is a Knight edition limited to the S(O), SX and SX(O) variants which gets cosmetic tweaks. In colours, you get six monotone shades including Fiery Red, Typhoon Silver, Titan Grey, Denim Blue, Atlas White and Abyss Black. For dual-tone, the Fiery Red can be had with an Abyss Black roof. The Knight edition gets similar shades except the monotone Denim Blue and Typhoon Silver.
