- It's good
- Yes
- Kawasaki Ninja 400 is the most expensive motorcycle in its segment. So even though Kawasaki has finally made the entry-level Ninja what it was always supposed to be - an ideal beginner’s bike which is as suited for city use as it is for the track, it’s going to be out of reach for most enthusiasts. As lovable as the motorcycle is, good value it is not. And that's the sad verdict. It's the best small Ninja yet, but we really cannot recommend it at that price. Moreover, we would suggest you take a test ride before making the final decision. Follow the link and select your desired city for dealership details.
- Amazing power
- The Kawasaki Ninja 400 gets an updated engine which now displaces 399cc within two cylinders. Not just that, even the compression ratio has been given a bump from 10.6:1 to 11.5:1. The bike now makes a good 49PS of power at 10,000rpm. That’s 10 more horses than the 300 at a 1000rpm less. And with the 400 now weighing less - 173kg, which is 6kg less than the 300, it’s pretty damn quick too. 0-100kmph is achieved in 5.40 seconds, which is the best in its segment. With a little less pull at the bottom end, it’s a little down in in-gear acceleration, with 30-70kmph in third gear taking 4.27 seconds. The 38Nm torque peaks at 8,000rpm and that's where the motorcycle feels the most alive. The Ninja 400 has a much better torque spread and feels more grunty in the middle portion of the rev band. Hence, it's that much more fun to ride in the daily commutes with acceleration feeling more effortless. Moreover, we would suggest you take a test ride before making the final decision. - All three bikes are good in their own forte. The 2022 Kawasaki Ninja 400 is priced at Rs 4,99,000, ex-showroom Delhi, which is the same price as the previous-gen bike. Mechanically, the Ninja 400 is identical to the older model, carrying on with the 399cc, liquid-cooled, parallel-twin engine with 45.3PS and 37Nm on tap. The 2022 Kawasaki Ninja 400 will come with a twin-LED headlamp and a semi-digital instrument cluster. If we talk about RC 390, while maintaining its sporty nature, KTM has also managed to make the 2022 RC 390 a bit more practical when it comes to everyday riding. This is done via a wider clip-on handlebar, redesigned split (and more cushioned) seat setup and a larger tank to better grip with your knees. On the other hand, improvements to the engine, suspension and brakes have significantly enhanced the overall riding experience of the baby GS. It feels more polished, is more capable off-road, and has better equipment for an asking price that’s not only cheaper than before but also much more affordable than the KTM 390. Moreover, we would suggest you to take a test ride for a better understanding of performance and comfort. Click on the link and select your desired city and brand for dealership details.
- It would be too early too give a verdict as Kawasaki Ninja 400 is not launched yet, so we would suggest you to stay tuned for the updates. On the other hand, If everyday performance is your top priority, nothing offers the same sort of explosive acceleration and razor sharp handling as the 390 Duke -- in this price range or in a segment above. Now more mature and refined in its latest form, the 2020 KTM 390 Duke still remains a well-rounded package tailor-made for thrill-seekers. KTM 390 Duke is powered by 373.2 cc engine. This Duke 390 engine generates a power of 43.5 PS @ 9000 rpm and a torque of 37 Nm @ 7000 rpm. Moreover, we would suggest you to take a test ride for a better understanding of performance and comfort. Click on the link and select your desired city for dealership details.

- Yes
- The Kawasaki Ninja 400 is powered by a 399cc, liquid-cooled, parallel-twin motor that is mated to a six-speed gearbox. Peak power of 45PS is generated at 10,000rpm, with 37Nm of peak torque kicking in at 8,000rpm. The Kawasaki Ninja 400 is underpinned by a tubular trellis chassis, and is suspended on a telescopic fork up front and a monoshock at the rear. Braking is managed by a 310mm front petal disc and a 220mm rear petal disc. Moreover, we would suggest you to take a test ride before making the final decision. Follow the link and select your desired city for details.
- It would be unfair to give a verdict here as the bikes have not been launched yet. You are requested to wait till the official launch. Stay tuned.

Prices back
Amegif i had to use one word to describe the kawasaki ninja 400 as soon as i hopped off after my first ride on it, It would be “shocking”! now this small(ish) capacity ninja isn’t new to shocking us… the first time it did so was when kawasaki announced the prices back in april of this year. Now though, It’s giving us that good-kinda shock.Because after years of getting somewhat insipid 250s and 300s, This 400 finally feels like a proper kawasaki! and here’s why.Ing.
