K-Light 250V Key Highlights
Design: The Keeway K-Light 250V gets a proper cruiser styling with a muscular fuel tank, low-slung design and a drag-style handlebar. The cruiser gets a massive 20-litre fuel tank, which means less range anxiety on long journeys. It gets a twin exhaust setup on the ride side of the bike and a rather boxy tail section, which is reminiscent of the Harley-Davidson Fat Bob.
Features: The Keeway K-Light 250V features a semi-digital instrument cluster with an integrated GPS unit linked with the Keeway Connect app. It displays real-time location of the cruiser and gets remote engine cut off, geo-fencing, ride records, speed limit and a panic button which shares your bike’s location with two emergency contacts. It also displays basic information like gear position indicator, trip meter, and fuel gauge.
Engine: The Keeway K-Light is powered by a 249cc, V-Twin, air-cooled engine producing 18.96PS and 19Nm. It is mated to a five-speed gearbox linked to a segment-first belt-drive system. The cruiser is suspended on a telescopic fork and twin shock absorbers. The braking hardware includes discs at both ends with dual-channel ABS as standard for added safety. It rolls on 16-inch alloys wrapped with 120-section front and 140-section rear tyres and tips the scales at 179kg.
Rivals: The Keeway K-Light 250V primarily rivals the Bajaj Avenger 220 Cruise, which is slightly more powerful and less than half of what the K-Lights costs. Other cruiser alternatives in the 300-350cc segment include the Royal Enfield Meteor 350 and Yezdi Roadster, both of which are more powerful and less expensive.
Variants: The Keeway K-Light 250V is priced at Rs 2,89,000 for the Matte Blue colour, Rs 2,99,000 for the Matte Dark Grey colour and Rs 3,09,000 for the Matte Black colour variant (all prices are introductory and ex-showroom India).
