Features: The Syros comes with numerous features, namely a panoramic sunroof, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, a 5-inch touchscreen for climate control, a 12.3-inch touchscreen infotainment system, a 12.3-inch driver’s display, front and rear seat ventilation, a wireless charging pad, a four-way electronically adjustable driver’s seat, 64 colour ambient lighting, an 8-speaker Harman Kardon sound system, rear-seat recline adjustment, LED headlights, Kia offers a wide range of safety features, including Level 2 ADAS, electronic stability programme (ESP), tyre pressure monitoring system (TPMS), a 360-degree camera, rear disc brakes, hill hold control; front, side, and rear parking sensors; a dual-dashcam setup, an electronic parking brake with auto hold and ISOFIX child seat mounts.

Engine: Powering the Syros is a 1-litre, 3-cylinder, turbo-petrol engine producing 120 PS and 172 Nm and a 1.5-litre, 4-cylinder diesel motor that delivers 116 PS and 250 Nm. Transmission options include a 6-speed manual, a 6-speed automatic, and a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission.

Rivals: The Kia Syros takes on the sub-compact SUVs as well as the compact SUVs. The list of its closest rivals includes the Maruti Suzuki Brezza, Skoda Kylaq, Kia Sonet and the Hyundai Venue, while it also locks horns with a segment above with the likes of the Tata Nexon along with the Hyundai Creta, Kia Seltos, Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara, Toyota Hyryder, Honda Elevate, MG Astor, Volkswagen Taigun, Skoda Kushaq, Citroen Basalt, and Tata Curvv.

Variants: It is available in six variants: HTK, HTK (O), HTK+, HTX, HTX+, and HTX+ (O). Whereas, the paint options comprise eight single-tone colours, such as Sparkling Silver, Gravity Grey, Imperial Blue, Intense Red, Pewter Olive, Glacier White, Aurora Black and Frost Blue.
