Land Rover has given the Range Rover a new plug-in hybrid powertrain. The PHEV is offered in both standard and long-range variants, equipped with a 3-litre petrol plug-in hybrid powertrain tuned for 440PS and P510PS, depending on the variant.
The Range Rover PHEV retails between Rs 2.62 crore to Rs 4.15 crore (ex-showroom). It takes on the likes of the Rolls Royce Cullinan, Bentley Bentayga, Volvo XC90 Recharge and upcoming BMW XM.
Features of Land Rover Range Rover : Land Rover packs the Range Rover SUV with a 13.1-inch Pivi Pro infotainment system with over-the-air-updates, a Meridian sound system, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, Alexa connected car tech, a 13.7-inch digital driver’s display, a wireless phone charger, four-zone climate control, and a PM2.5 filter. The Range Rover also gets adaptive air suspension, all-wheel steering, and active anti-roll bars for a more comfortable ride.
Land Rover Range Rover Engine : Land Rover offers the 2022 Range Rover with three engine options: a 350PS/700Nm 3-litre diesel (D350), a 400PS/550Nm 3-litre turbo-petrol (P400) and a BMW-sourced 540PS/750Nm 4.4-litre twin turbo V8 (P350) unit. The 3-litre units get mild hybrid tech. All engines come paired with an 8-speed automatic transmission and an all-wheel drivetrain. Talking performance, the SUV is capable of going from standstill to 100kmph within 6.3 seconds (D350), 5.9 seconds (P400) and in 4.7 seconds (P350).
Land Rover Range Rover Rivals : The 2022 SUV takes on the likes of the Bentley Bentayga, Mercedes-Maybach GLS, and Rolls Royce Cullinan.
Land Rover Range Rover Variants : The 2022 Range Rover comes in three board trims: SE, HSE, Autobiography and First Edition. All four are available in standard- and long-wheelbase options and come as 4-, 5-, and 7-seaters.
