BE 6 Key Highlights
Features: The Mahindra BE 6 comes with a dual screen setup consisting of a touchscreen infotainment system and fully digital driver’s display, wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, two wireless phone chargers, a panoramic glass roof, powered and ventilated front seats with memory function, connected car tech, dual-zone climate control, multicolour ambient lighting, and a 16-speaker Harman Kardon sound system. In terms of safety, the BE 6 boasts 7 airbags, electronic stability control (ESC), tyre pressure monitoring system (TPMS), hill hold control, ISOFIX child seat mounts, electronic parking brake with auto-hold, level 2+ ADAS and a 360-degree camera.
Motor: The Mahindra BE 6 is offered with two battery packs: a 59 kWh and a 79 kWh with an MIDC (part 1 + part 2) range of 535 km and 682 km, respectively. Its rear-wheel drive motor setup delivers 231 PS with the smaller battery pack and 286 PS with the larger battery pack. Irrespective of the battery pack, you get 380 Nm of torque. The SUV goes from 0-100 kmph in a claimed 6.7 seconds. The BE 6 supports DC fast charging, allowing it to recharge from 20 to 80 percent in just 20 minutes using a 140 kW or a 175 kW DC charger. It can also be charged with a 7.2 kW and 11 kW Type-2 AC chargers. The electric SUV measures 4,371 mm in length, 1,907 in width and 1,627 in height with a wheelbase of 2,775 mm.
