e Vitara Key Highlights

Motor: Maruti Suzuki has not revealed the detailed specifications yet but as far as we know, the eVX is expected to get a 60kWh battery pack which can offer a claimed range of up to 550 km. It might get both dual-motor all-wheel drive (AWD) and single-motor two-wheel drivetrain options. The concept eVX measures 4300 mm in length, 1800 mm in width and 1600 mm in height. The production spec will likely measure the same.

Rivals: The Maruti Suzuki eVX will compete against the Tata Curvv EV, BYD Atto 3 and the MG ZS EV. It will also lock horns with the upcoming Hyundai Creta EV.

Range: e Vitara can go upto Upto 550 KM after a full charge.

Maruti Suzuki has teased the production-spec e Vitara, its first electric compact SUV, for the first time in India. It is set to be showcased at the Bharat Mobility Global Expo, scheduled to take place from January 17 to 22, 2025. The eVitara will be based on the HEARTECT-e platform, specifically designed for battery electric vehicles (BEVs). Internationally, the eVitara is offered with two battery pack options, which are likely to be available upon its launch in India, expected sometime after its Expo debut. The estimated price at launch could start from Rs 20 lakh (ex-showroom).
