Price: The W175 is available in four variants: Ebony, which retails at Rs 1,29,000, Metallic Graphite Grey, priced at Rs 1,29,000, Metallic Ocean Blue with a price tag of Rs 1,31,000 and Street, which is priced at Rs 1,35,000 (all prices ex-showroom India).
Features: Owing to its retro ambitions, the W175 gets a semi-digital instrument console with an analogue speedometer and a digital inset that shows fuel gauge, time, odometer and tripmeter readouts.
Engine: The Kawasaki W175 is powered by a 177cc single-cylinder engine that makes 13PS and 13.2Nm, numbers that are only 0.6PS more and 0.1Nm less than its rival, the Yamaha FZ-X despite having a significant displacement advantage.
Suspension, Brakes & Other Details: The Kawasaki W175’s suspension setup consists of a telescopic fork and twin shock absorbers. The braking setup consists of a single 270mm front disc brake and a drum brake at the rear. The bike has a wheelbase of 1320mm, ground clearance of 165mm, seat height of 790mm, kerb weight of 135kg and a fuel tank capacity of 12 litres.
Rivals: The Kawasaki W175 primarily rivals the Yamaha FZ-X. That said, it also acts as a smaller-engined alternative to the Royal Enfield Bullet 350.
