If you do commuting mostly and also long rides then better go for FZ 25. I'm also a college student and have purchased FZ 25 a couple of months back and my experience with the bike is really great. Coming to the service, it purely depends on which service centre you choose. Enquire about the best service centre in your city and give it there.

If you are the one thats looking for a thrill and do more topend riding then go for fz25 as it has more pickup and topspeed and a new design. If you are only looking for mileage then go for fzs. (not so fun to ride as fz v1) Fz 25 also does justice for commuting as it gives you a mileage of 38 kmpl approx (best mileage in 250cc segment).
