Q. How is the build quality, I am going to keep it for a long time 8 years. Build quality is my major concern and what is the exact mileage in a metropolitan city where we encounter lots of traffic and is it true that the mileage drops to less than 30kmpl if we ride it on a heavy throttle - Apache 200 4V Race?

Build quality of the bike is decent. Don't expect the built of hero spelendor or other hero's 100cc. If you ride and service your bike properly and regularly I can go a long way. I have already written to tvs regarding the build of the bike. I am not satisfied with the build.Mileage- I am totally disappointed with the mileage of the bike after 3rd service in city ride i'm getting exactly 30kmpl.I have not tested it on highways but you can expect anything around 35kmpl.If you service and ride sensibly it will last you long.

Hi Mohit,It's been 1 year for the bike the build quality is at top notch compare to other competitors, so that you can keep it for longer. Mileage will come around 32km and eventually after first few services it will be more better .And coming to the performance you couldn't notice until 3rd service but later on you will feel like you are on the track and you are on the race.2.0 is worth buying.Thank you.

I am using apache RTR 160 hyper edge since 2009. I have done around 1.35 lacs kilometers on it... and still it is performing very well.. no change in sound still my bike is stock.... I put my bike for service at every 2500-2700kms....
