  • Q. I am planning to buy the Yamaha FZ-S Fi V3. Can someone please share what are the positive and the negative things about the bike?

    Positives: 1. Build quality. 2. Smooth Gear box. 3. Great looks. 4. Fuel injection, Abs and rear disc as standard.5. Reasonable fuel economy between 45 to 50kmpl. 6. Fun to ride in corners. Negatives: 1. Low power delivery. 2. Relatively Stiff suspension for a commuter segment. (Can get backpain) 3. There is a slight vibration present @5000 rpm, 65 to 70kmph speed. 4. Throttle response is dull.

    Positives are what showroom guys will tell you. Negative is the fibre quality is very poor. Very fragile. Be ready for replacements of parts that too with lot of suffering as most of the items always out of stock

    Amazing control compared to other bikes in this segment. Good mileage (45 - 50 kmpl) and great looks.. Only downside would be the power. It feels underwhelming to drive a beast looking bike with such less power. Its for the same engine as the fzs v2

Q. I bought the FZS V3 2019 2 weeks ago. Initial 2 days I felt the engine is smooth. But as the days went on I am not at all happy with the performance. I feel Harder engine, Hard Engine sound, No Pickup. Is this the common issue before 1st service or anything problem in engine. Also couple of times lets say for some 4 kms in 2 weeks I might have taken it till 57 Kmph. But not continuously or intentionally. But I am 99% of the time within 40kmph & less than 4000 Rpm. Will the performance and engine sound be rectified after 1st service?
