Q. I brought Honda SP 125 recently. I felt that engine is overheating for riding 15 Kms.

I brought new honda sp 125 on 04.10.2021 while traveling for 1km the engine and silencer is getting heated I went to showroom but they told that it will be rectified automatically I brought it in guntakal honda showroom please do needful help

Please check the engine oil level with the help of dip stick provided in the block and top up if required. The engine casing in bs6 is of very thin quality and heats up quickly but nothing to worry about.

I never faced heating issues. I had ride my bike continuously for 200 km in one down with two to three break for 10 or 15 mnts.

Its not actually overheat. Its normal heat produced as the bike has a very short stroke engine. Nothing to get worried.

It heatup a bit specialy if you are ridding it in a bumper to bumper traffic condition .

Yes it might be heat don't worry about this after service your bike is good
