    I too observed this. It is mainly because of silencer and catalyst converter were not covered with a frame, and is closer to legs, especially right.a mechanic may help in this regard. Another thing is honda is using low visc engine oil like 5w 10w30, i tried 20w40 syn without issues, there is considerable perf diff at high speeds and heating is less.
