Price: The 125cc sporty scooter comes in two variants – Standard priced at Rs 83,400, and the Smart variant priced at Rs 91,300. Both prices ex-showroom, Delhi.

Design: While the Honda Dio 125 retains the iconic and sporty body design as the Dio 110, it does get a slightly more muscular styling and body panels. The grab rail and exhaust are a bit sportier too, and along with the dual-tone colours, new graphics and logos, the scooter looks slightly fresh.

Features: The Standard and Smart variants of the Dio 125 comes equipped with a fully digital console that displays range, average and real-time mileage along with a tripmeter, clock, side stand indicator, ECO indicator, Service Due indicator and malfunction light. Smart Variant, on the other hand, comes with a Smart Key along with Smart Find, Smart Unlock, Smart Safe and Smart Start features.

Engine: Honda Dio 125 is powered by a 123.97cc air-cooled mill with Idling Stop System, making 8.25PS and 10.3Nm, same as the one on Honda Grazia. It features a telescopic fork and a three-step adjustable rear monoshock suspension setup. Braking hardware comprises a petal disc up front (only in the Smart variant) and a drum brake at the rear with a combined braking system.

Rivals: In the 125cc sporty scooter market, the Honda Dio is more affordable than its rivals – the TVS Ntorq 125, Aprilia SR125, Yamaha RayZR 125, Suzuki Avenis, and the upcoming Hero Xoom 125.
