A problem with the engine management system A malfunctioning sensorImproper intakeEmission issuesA problem with the fuel systemA problem with the engine's computerThe malfunction indicator light, also known as the check engine light, is a signal from the vehicle's engine computer that something is wrong. The issue could be minor, like a faulty gas cap, or more serious, like a misfiring engine. To reset the check engine light, you can try the following steps: Turn the key into the ignition and turn it on for 1-2 secondsTurn it off for 1-2 secondsRepeat this step three or four timesIf the check engine light remains on after resetting, there might still be a problem with the vehicle. Bajaj warrants all its motorcycles for a period of 5 years or 75,000 km, whichever is earlier, from the date of purchase.
