Q. Is it suitable for long distance continuously - Burgman Street?
10.6K Views Follow Question Add Answer63 AnswersNagarjuna | 4 years agoI travelled 600 kms from hyderabad to tirupati Filled fuel trice, around 150kms or when the fuel gauge showed two points left, just to stay on safe side. Took 10 mins break in each petrol station when I stopped for refuelling and took 15 mins break for snacks and relaxing. I maintained 65 to 85 kmph speed without stressing the engine too much. Before I started the journey, I changed engine oil and checked tyre pressure. Short answer is, yes, you can drive burgman street as long as your body supports and as long as you don't push the engine to its max limits for extended periods of time. Checklist for people who are planning for long drive:1. Get the bike servicing done2. Check tyres and tyre pressure3. Tool kit provided by manufacturer4. Good helmet and gloves5. Comfortable pants6. Google and check for petrol stations in the route you travel as you need to refill once 150 kms. Burgman can go more than 230 kms with a tank of fuel, but avoid risks during long distance travels
...Read MoreNagallapruthvi | 1 year agoIt depends on how you define long distances. Riding a scooter on highways is never recommended, as it will do more harm to you than good. You can ride the scooter on local roads or, at best, state highways as long as you wish, again even this ride comfort is best compared to other 125 cc scooters; once you move to bikes or scooters above 125 ccs, your ride quality will improve as you increase your budget for your motorcycle. You can't expect pulsar 150cc or even 125cc ride quality with Burgman 125 because scooters are made for small-distance rides, whereas bikes with gears are made for long-distance rides.

Rahul | 4 years agoBurgman is very much like a long haul vehicle, if your body can support the long drives then go for it. My back on the other hand could not take it after 2 hours :))) and i have to take a break.
6303 | 1 year agoI travelled in burgman street from chennai to ramnadhapuram thats a 500 km ride.. had to stop for 10 mins in fuel stations.. the ride was comfortable as i had good leg room to stretch.. i had to ride 30km in sudden unexpected rain as the route had no place to shelter.. the rain cooled down the engine lil bit
