We would like to state that we wanted to purchase Honda Activa 6G top model for which we had visited their showroom. After seeing the reviews and feedback from all public and Google, we had decided to go for this highly sold and best quality scooter. However to get a second option we went to TVS Century Automobiles Showroom to have a look at TVS Jupiter Top end model. Here Mr. Yashwant (Sales Exec) attended us and told about features of Jupiter ZX - Disc model Rs.89,423/-, that features are not available in Honda Activa 6gMr Yashwant confirmed that in Jupiter ZX disc brake model has all the modern features like remote petrol lid opener, remote boot (Dickey) opener and stylish mirrors. After seeing all these modern features as mentioned by Yashwant, we switched our mind to purchase Jupiter ZX disc model instead of Honda Activa 6g.This on 22nd Oct '20, we went to TVS Century Automobiles to book TVS Jupiter ZX Disc brake model. Here on further discussions, Mr Yashwant stated that we could go for a Drum brake Jupiter ZX model which is Rs. 4000 cheaper than Disc brake model and provides the same modern features as the Disc model. He further stated that Drum brake models are better than Disc brake models as Disc breaks are high on maintenance and also apply very quickly which may not be safe while taking small kids around. As I have a 5 yrs old daughter. He never showed the Drum model but somehow convinced with all the modern features this is the best model to cater to our needs. We got convinced for the safety of our child

I don't trust this vehicle and Tvs company anymore. I purchased Jupiter in 2015. The usage of the vehicle is about 50-60kms per week (single person use)and predominantly at an average speed of 40kmph.So far,I rode about 14k kms. I get my scooter serviced at an authorized service center every 4 months and I replace oil (in every service). After my last service on 17.03.2021, I rode about 80 kms in one week and vehicle engine seized. I asked the dealer about the problem and root cause. He said the oil pump of the engine was weak and it failed supplying oil to the engine and hence the engine overheated and seized. The dealer person is so careless, and trying to manipulate in all ways possible and I have contacted tvs company for support and I didn't get any response yet. Don't know how I will proceed with this problem. I'm sure the part replacement and repair cost will be high. This experience made me think about why did I buy a tvs vehicle and what is the use of their servicing at authorized service centre.

I bought a Jupiter BS IV in Jan '19. I had used Bajaj for 12 yrs, Activa 1st gen for 14 yrs. Bought the Jupiter for its better suspension for Mumbai potholes. First year faced no issues except for the indicator switch replace, not covered in warranty. After free service was over , took AMC with Innovative in Bhandup West. Then my nightmare began. Indicator swtich goes bad again, fuel gauge malfunctions, start problem every day. Gave the scooter for service, parts were replaced again. After an arguement, was given warranty of 1yr on replaced parts. After 3 months of service, same start problem, head bulb fused. Made repeated online complaints with company for repeated breakdowns, Jupiter taken to service center in June 21 and kept for 3 days. After using for 1 day, same problems. Advised Battery Replacement as battery warranty is for 1 year from date of purchase. MY GENUINE ADVICE 'DON'T BUY TVS PRODUCTS' REASONS: SPARE PARTS ARE OF POOREST QUALITY, SERVICE CENTER IS A CON CENTER. Never faced such severe issues in my earlier scooters. I repent buying a TVS product.
